Getting started

  1. Review and accept the agreement and privacy notice.

  3. Allow camera access only when using live simulation.
  4. Adjust myopia, astigmatism, presbyopia or other vision parameters as needed.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the camera view unavailable? Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and make sure SightFrame has permission. A simulator or a device without a camera cannot use live camera mode, but preset scenes remain available.

Does the app save or upload camera frames? No. Frames are processed in real time on your device. Content is written to the system photo library only when you explicitly save a screenshot.

Can the self-test replace a professional eye exam? No. Results are for general reference and eye-health education only. They are not a diagnosis or prescription. Consult a licensed eye-care professional if you notice vision changes or discomfort.

How do I reset preferences or test records? Restore the relevant options in the app settings. To remove all local data, delete and reinstall the app after confirming you no longer need your local records.

Which languages are supported? The app currently supports Simplified Chinese and English and follows your device language.
