StarSprout Adventure follows data minimization. This policy explains how the current version handles local device records, in-app purchases, and network requests made when you choose to open a legal or support page.
The current version requires no registration or sign-in. It does not actively collect legal names, birthdays, phone numbers, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone content, advertising identifiers, or cross-app activity. The app contains no third-party advertising, open chat, or third-party behavioral analytics SDK.
The app uses system-provided local storage for onboarding status, experience mode, family-profile nickname and type, level progress, stars, rewards, daily-challenge results, language and sound settings, and daily usage time. This data separates family members, restores progress, and powers healthy-use reminders. It is not uploaded to a developer server.
A nickname entered for a family profile stays on this device. It is not an account name and is not transmitted to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in device settings removes these local records.
The app is designed for family use. Parents or guardians should decide whether it is suitable for a child and manage purchases and play time. The current version does not enable accounts, cloud sync, or other collection of children’s personal information. If those capabilities are added, we will update this policy first and obtain verifiable parental consent where required by law.
One-time digital-content purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Apple handles payment, billing, and transaction processing; the developer does not receive or retain payment-card information.
To display products, validate transactions, prevent fraud, restore purchases, and determine permanent entitlement, the app uses RevenueCat to process a randomly generated anonymous App User ID, product and transaction identifiers, purchase history, entitlement status, storefront locale and currency, and technical network or device information needed to provide the service. RevenueCat does not receive family-profile nicknames or learning records and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy, the User Agreement, and the Support page are hosted by Notion. Your device connects to Notion only when you choose to open one of these pages. To deliver the page, Notion may process an IP address, device or browser technical information, necessary cookies, and ordinary server logs. The StarSprout developer does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking. Notion’s processing is governed by its Privacy Policy.
StarSprout does not sell user data. Learning records remain on this device. Apple, RevenueCat, and Notion retain the transaction or technical records needed for their services under their policies and applicable law. Anonymous purchase data required for validation may be processed in RevenueCat’s service regions. Transaction or compliance records that must legally be retained may not be deleted immediately.
If app functionality or data practices materially change, we will update this page and its effective date and announce the change in the app or release notes. If a new use of children’s personal information requires consent, we will ask the parent or guardian again before that use begins.
